What is Handspan Injection?
Handspan injection is a fat-dissolving treatment that can replace mini-liposuction, offering a safe and effective alternative. Compared to basic fat-dissolving injections like PPC, Handspan injection causes much less inflammation, resulting in significantly less swelling, bruising, and pain, allowing for minimal disruption to daily life. Additionally, since the inflammation response is lower, there is no adhesion of surrounding tissues.
Precautions After Hands Injection
1.Drink 300cc of water for the face and 1 liter for the body within 4 hours after the treatment.
2.Light showering is allowed on the day of the procedure.
3.Between 4 to 5 days after the treatment, engage in light walking or use the sauna to promote lymphatic circulation. This helps to eliminate the neutral fats released from the fat cells through lymphatic and blood circulation.
4.For 1-2 days after the treatment, you may experience pain, fever (usually mild, but sometimes up to 39°C), redness, and swelling. These symptoms can last for 3-4 days. During this time, avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, and alcohol.
5.Some people may experience mild side effects like diarrhea, nausea, or dizziness (3%).
6.If itching or pain occurs within the first 1-3 days, you may take painkillers for relief.
7.Starting from the first week after the treatment, fat begins to dissolve and skin elasticity starts to improve.
8.The next treatment can be done 2-3 weeks later.
9.Around 1-2 weeks after the treatment, you may feel hard lumps in the injection areas. This occurs when neutral fats are broken down and become clumped together. These lumps can be resolved quickly with massage or radiofrequency treatments.
10.After removing the gauze, applying Duoderm (a regenerating tape) on the injection sites can help with skin regeneration.
